Date: Leaving on Saturday, August 30, returning September 3.
Main Event: Attending Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit 2025 in Tianjin.
Other Event: Joining 80th anniversary of China’s victory in the war against Japan and the World Anti-Fascist War (Sept 3).
Goal: Push for Nepal’s upgrade in SCO from dialogue partner to observer.

Meetings:
Chinese President Xi Jinping (Tianjin).
Possible trilateral meeting with Xi and Indian PM Modi (not confirmed).
Separate meeting with Indian PM Modi requested.
Chinese Vice President Han Zheng (Beijing, Sept 2).
Border Issue: Nepal to raise concerns over India-China trade deal through Lipulekh Pass, which Nepal claims as its territory.
